When does my horse need a vaccine?
We recommend that all horses are vaccinated against Tetanus. In addition any horses that mix with other horses at shows, events and competitions should also be vaccinated against equine flu every year.
Which wormer should I use for my horse?
This can depend on a number of factors, such as: the time of year, where the horse lives and results of a faecal worm egg count. Please contact the surgery for advice.
When does the vet need to see my horse's passport?
Ideally every time they see the horse! Specifically we are required to record in the passport all vaccinations and medicines at the time that they are administered.
I've read a lot about Cushing's disease recently. How do I know if my horse might have it?
